- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In a larger bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract, mixing well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, blending until just combined.
