This beautiful kiln fired enameled copper bowl started out as an almost ruined experiment. In the course of hammering this bowl, I stretched it too far and split the copper in the bottom of the bowl. Heartbreaking. I took it too far, I had hours invested already, heating the bowl to orange hot, plunging it into cold water, scrub the fire scale back off Hammer Hammer Hammer... Repeat. It (and it's twin, which I split too) sat on a shelf for a year or so while I wondered what to do with it. Thankfully I took a chance at enameling it. It is simply beautiful and the enamel sealed the split!

This Bowl comes with a copper enameled ring to display your bowl at almost any angle.

I have chosen black with a slime green dusting adorned with opalescence, red, and yellow jewels.

The edges have been carefully sanded to a buttery smooth finish exposing the shiny copper contrast around the circumference.

Each bowl is unique and created one at a time. Once a copper shape has been created and hand hammered multiple layers of glass are used on both sides of bowl for a sturdy finish and beautiful look.
